Hello, Clairemont Democrats!

As noticed at last month’s meeting, we will formally take action to support a number of legislative proposals on clean elections for our next meeting on Tuesday, May 14th! Thank you to speakers John Hartley and James McCord who presented last month. The three proposals we will be considering include:

• SB 47 (The Petition Disclose Act)
• AB 1217 (The Issue Ad Disclose Act)
• AB 1784 (The Secure the Vote Act)

Finally, we are excited to welcome Carol Kim from the San Diego County Building and Construction Trades who will present and discuss the history of labor unions in an educational Labor 101 presentation.
