Join us for our next club meeting on Tuesday, August 10th at 7:00pm — this will be an all-virtual club meeting. As much as we would like to try more hybrid-type meetings, the alarming rise in the Delta variant COVID cases are worrisome.

We will welcome our San Diego County Democratic Party Chair Will Rodriguez-Kennedy as a guest speaker to speak about the fast-approaching recall election.

Be sure to double check your voter registration, and make sure everything is up-to-date. Absentee ballots for the recall election will be mailed out the week of August 16th — just 3 weeks away!

The recall election is Tuesday, September 14th, and remember to vote NO!

Also, we will welcome Janessa Goldbeck to present a resolution to ban ‘ghost guns’ — unregistered, unregulated, untraceable firearms that can be 3D-printed and manufactured. Clairemont Democratic Club will take a position on the resolution being presented. Here is the text of the resolution.
