Hello, Clairemont Democrats!

Join us for our next club meeting on Tuesday, July 9th at 7:00pm inside Elijah’s Restaurant (7061 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., San Diego 92111).

Last month we heard a presentation from Jay Jayakumar about the draft of the Green New Deal. This month we will formally take a vote to endorse a resolution in support. Check out the draft resolution here, and take a look at the presentation on PowerPoint here.

Also, Sarah Walsh from Sullivan Solar Power will speak and present on solar energy, battery storage, and some of the upcoming changes in energy policy and utility rates.

Finally, due to candidate scheduling we will push our endorsement recommendation for San Diego City Attorney to our club meeting in August.
